Tenets of Faith
-
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God — fully sufficient for faith, conduct, and godly ministry. It is the revealed truth by which G.A.P. guides its beliefs, fellowship, and counsel.
-
We affirm one eternal God — eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — coequal in power and glory, the Creator and Sustainer of all things.
-
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our redemption, was bodily resurrected, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
-
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully divine and actively present to convict, regenerate, empower, and sanctify believers — equipping leaders for service, unity, and effective ministry on every front.
-
We believe mankind was created in the image of God, fell into sin, and is reconciled to God only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift of grace, received by faith apart from works.
-
We believe that Jesus commanded the ordinances of the Church:
Water Baptism — Baptism in water by immersion is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. The ordinance is a prophetic act empowering the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
Holy Communion — The Lord’s Supper, taken in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and in celebration of His covenant with His people.
-
The Baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance.
-
We believe the Church — the body of Christ — is called to worship, fellowship, prayer, discipleship, and mission. G.A.P. exists to foster deep relational fellowship among pastors and ministry leaders, building encouragement, mutual support, and spiritual covering.
-
We affirm the power and imperative of prayer. G.A.P. dedicates itself to praying for pastors, ministries, nations, persecuted believers, and global outreach — knowing that spiritual victory and ministry effectiveness are rooted in prayer.
-
We believe that true spiritual unity flows from Christ-centered love and humility. G.A.P. commits to providing wise counsel, biblical accountability, and relational support — fostering unity without compromise to scriptural truth.
-
We affirm that every believer has a God-given calling. G.A.P. exists to equip leaders with practical guidance, ministry wisdom, and global perspective so they are strengthened to impact their cultures and churches with Kingdom fruitfulness.
-
We believe in the imminent, visible return of Jesus Christ — the blessed hope of believers — when He will fully establish His eternal Kingdom and judge the living and the dead. We believe in the imminent, visible return of Jesus Christ — the blessed hope of the Church.
We affirm a dispensational understanding of Scripture, recognizing God’s redemptive plan unfolding in distinct administrations throughout history. We believe that Christ will first come for His Church, catching away His bride prior to the seven-year tribulation, after which He will return in glory to establish His millennial reign upon the earth.
At His return, He will judge the living and the dead and fully establish His eternal Kingdom in righteousness and truth.
-
We believe in eternal life for all who place their faith in Christ, and we affirm that those who reject Him remain separated from God. This compels us to proclaim the Gospel, stand with the persecuted, and live as Kingdom ambassadors.
